LAUNCH POST

All my life I’ve dreamt of living in a cottage by the sea. And growing up in land-locked Toronto, that seemed like a pretty big dream. But now here I am, happily puttering around in my forever home (the only way they are getting me out is feet first) situated in a picturesque fishing village with the North Atlantic just beyond the breakwater

There has been something magical about everything that has happened since Liam and I moved to Petty Harbour. From despair about our fixer-upper to elation at being featured on HGTV’s Rock Solid Builds; from a pandemic-related urgent need for a new manufacturing space for Wild Mother to finding the perfect location in the Petty Harbour Fishermen’s Co-op (across the harbour from our new house – I can practically smell the vinegar fermenting from my desk as I write this).

My brother-in-law says that when I step in shit, I end up smelling like roses. I don’t know about that but I do know  from experience that something unexpectedly amazing can often be right around the corner from what looks like the worst thing possible. So here’s to new beginnings and new horizons. For us all.
